Make your own fresh cat food for less than the cost of premium cat food! One canister has enough premix supplement to make one month of food for the average cat. There are 6 batches in the canister with each batch making 1 ½ to 2 pounds of food, enough for one cat for approximately 5-7 days. Preparation time is less than 30 minutes! The blend can be prepared raw (raw eggs should not be fed to cats) but consult with your veterinarian and know the risks of feeding raw.

Making cat food couldn’t be easier with these 4 basic ingredients:
Optional protein source: 1 or 2 eggs
Making cat food in 3 easy steps:
Simply saute the ground meat in 2 TBSP coconut oil (8-10 minutes)
Add a source of Omega 3 fatty acids (or omit and add essential Omega 3 fatty acids when serving) and a cup of bone broth, low salt broth or water with 2 tablespoons of premix.
Mix in an immersion blender or food processor to desired consistency (pate or chunky).
*The recipe can be prepared raw with 1 pound of fresh ground meat and add Omega 3 fatty acid source. It is not recommended to feed raw eggs to cats (avidin binds Biotin and will cause a deficiency). Use proper hygiene with raw meat and consult a veterinarian familiar with raw feeding to understand risks of food borne illnesses.
This is a quick start recommendation for feeding your cat or kitten. You have to find a place to start, make a transition and adjust as needed. Monitor appetite and body condition to determine next steps and consult with your veterinarian when in doubt.

Cats and kittens over 6 months of age can be fed once daily. If you chose to feed two daily meals I would recommend feeding 2/3 of the food in the morning and 1/3 of the food in the evening.
